Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a dramatised version of the first few chapters of Tagore’s novel Rajarshi, but the plot of the drama is a significant improvement upon that of the novel. It was staged several times during Tagore’s life and is part of Words of the Master, a set of 12 books that the Master himself has translated.
